The club has its own in-house football club.  SC Birchanger Football club was formed in the 1950s and currently has two 11-a-side teams that play on a Sunday morning.  The first team play in the Harlow & District Football League and the reserve team play in the North West Essex League.  Anyone interested in joining should contact committee member Ross Leavers for further details.  The football pitch is available to hire for non-members.
